Southern California. You’ve got it all. Beaches, constant sunshine, and hardworking crews, though I will forever be leery of you. We recently had only one day to pull off two demanding shots about a cowboy in vacation bliss for Zoetis, a livestock pharmaceutical company and the Bader Rutter agency. Everything was great except that the sun never came out. In fact, the skies got worse and foggier as the day progressed. It was looking like the day was a wash. But with the benefit of an extensive tech scout I did on the days leading up to the shoot, reorienting the shot and on-the-spot post production planning, we managed to pull off California as we know it. Check out what the weather looked like in the middle of our shoot and what we eventually delivered.
