…And to embrace this statement sums up the concept of Test Shot: Unintended Portraits. Test Shot is  juried exhibit I organized at my Chicago studio to showcase work that was up until now, unworthy of display. On May 17, thirty photographers from around the country exhibited off-beat portraits made in the process of pursuing these “dreams” and “expectations”.  Our jury panel included: Liz Miller-Gershfeld (Energy BBDO), Emily Hoskins (Upshot), Leslie Dela Vega (Fast Company), Kate Osba (, Jason Lazarus (   You can see the Facebook event page to see pictures from the party. We had hundreds of guests, DJ LA Jesus and a keg.  Look out for a follow-up exhibit later this year in October.
